What is required on this board?
Please try to keep an open mind. BaptistWatch.org is here for debate, but try to use appropriate manners when talking to people with whom you disagree. Basically, try to

- which means TRY TRY TRY to just be CIVIL to one another. You may not like others who post in the Forum, and you certainly don't HAVE to, but starting a nasty flame war is one of the things we frown upon here. In fact - we frown on it to the point of BANNING people.
What can and cannot be posted ?
BaptistWatch.org is here for discussion about religion, gay & lesbian issues, hate, politics, etc. We realize that relationships will be made here, so general discussion is also welcome. The BaptistWatch.org Forum is divided up into seperate discussion areas. Please post your comments in the appropriate area. There are some guidelines to take into account.
1. Do not use inappropriate language. This includes curse words and offensive slang. Use your head when it come to this. If you think it might not be appropriate, then use a different word. There is a profanity blocker, but we would not like to use it unless it is absolutely necessary. BaptistWatch.org reserves the right to ban users who do not follow the rules for posting in the Forum.
2. When posting in the News section, remember to cite the source and the date of the article. When posting a news article, do not comment or editoralize. Simply, copy & paste the story and cite it as appropriate.
3. Do not post images which might be considered offensive. Use common sense here. If the image would be inappropriate for children, just don't post it. You can link to such images, IF you include a warning that the image might be considered offensive.
Failing to follow these guidelines will result in your post being deleted. Repeated offenses will result in your being banned from the Forum.
Can I use html tags anywhere in my posts?
Yes, you can use html tags in your posts. If you have an image or link you would like to post, please feel free. Posting inappropriate material will result in your being banned from the Forum.
How do I make a signature?
On the top right of the page, click on the link that says "Control Panel". There is a box in your control panel in which you can write a signature. This signature will appear at the end of each of your posts.
